BigCommerce is looking for a Manager, GTM Strategy & Operations to lead growth initiatives across the company by leveraging  a team of quantitative and qualitative problem solvers in cross-functional and consultative engagements with a focus on our Sales and Post-Sales functions. The ideal candidate is able to quickly build trust with a wide variety of stakeholders and leverage operational and analytical expertise  to drive change across the most complex issues facing the business. Leveraging a mix of practical experience, interpersonal skills, financial modeling, operational savvy, process improvement, and data analysis, this leader will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision making and positive organizational change. 

What You’ll Do

  • Establish a trusted relationship with the regional GM, as well as other Senior Leadership in the GTM Organization, while serving as a subject matter expert in understanding key challenges and business opportunities.
  • Perform data and economic analysis on sales effectiveness throughout the funnel. Demonstrate curiosity and the capacity to seek out your own data, surface gaps, and incorporate Tableau reports and visualizations into analyses.
  • Constantly identify and mitigate risks while continuously evaluating prioritization for the highest leverage activities in support of EMEA revenue growth.
  • Prepare materials for and in many cases for key business rhythms including monthly business reviews, quarterly Board of Directors meetings, annual financial planning, and more.
  • Collaborate with Operations leaders in other regions to standardize and globalize tactics. 
  • Collaborate with peers in the Global GTM Strategy & Operations teams to design and implement operational changes surfaced via insights or business partnership.
  • Collaborate with peers in Analytics and Data Solutions to design and implement incremental Tableau datasets required for continuous analysis and improvement.
  • Mentor and train other employees within Operations in similar roles, providing training to new employees, assisting with understanding the business, modeling conventions and analysis.
  • Drive execution of proven playbooks to create operational sustainability within insights, operations, and performance review rhythms, applying a systems-thinking approach over an ad-hoc one.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, or similar roles in Business Analytics or Finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, Business Administration, Finance, Economics) or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior work experience in SaaS technology/eCommerce companies is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience supporting GTM functions, mainly Marketing & Sales Operations.
  • Strong track record of driving comprehensive advanced analyses, stakeholder management, working in cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.
  • Confident communicator / storyteller who naturally simplifies complex concepts into absorbable information that influences the behavior of executives (oral, written, powerpoint).
  • Experience with data exploration and analysis in Tableau or Looker preferred.
  • Experience working with revenue-generating teams to evaluate business opportunities, make recommendations for implementation / improvement, with demonstrated success in improving business performance and efficiency
  • Driven, curious, and quick to absorb information; comfortable at independently solving problems despite ambiguity.
