Are you our next London-based Director of Agency Partnerships?

Directly reporting to our VP & GM, EMEA, you will drive and lead our Channel strategy across the region. Your team will build and grow valued partnerships with System Integrators, Digital Agencies, and eCommerce consultants. Together, they will innovate and implement go-to-market strategies benefitting the partners and BigCommerce.

What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop a team of 10+ Partner Growth and Regional Channel Account Managers to grow their full professional potential at BigCommerce
  • Plan, coordinate, lead, and control balanced revenue growth, continued merchant awareness and customer happiness with a long term, multi-year focus
  • Acquire merchant referrals from partners and facilitate new revenue and co-selling opportunities by driving Sales collaboration with those partners
  • Constantly innovate new integrations, new features and new markets to deepen relationships with partners
  • Continuously drive joint marketing initiatives through events and campaigns to foster merchant adoption and revenue growth for both BigCommerce and the partner
  • Understand who to loop in for onboarding, deals and service to assure every partner a flawless and beneficial experience with us—this could be Enterprise Sales, Product, Client Success or Account Management (and possibly many others!)
  • Deliver compelling capabilities demonstrations of the BigCommerce platform and address high-level technical questions, serving as a subject matter expert around how eCommerce platforms fit within overall digital commerce ecosystems.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of consultative solution selling experience
  • At least 3+ years of hiring, mentoring and sales team management
  • Proven track record of success in a rapidly growing and fast-paced Recurring Revenue or SaaS organisations
  • Ability to articulate past wins in quota-based Channel Sales
  • Keen understanding of a variety of eCommerce platforms including Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and Shopify
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed. This job may require upwards of 25% travel to meet with partners which may require overnight stays or week-long stays at locations (depending on the project).
