Ecommerce is thriving, and we need a "humbitious" leader to help us strategize and improve processes as we grow.

What you will do:

  • Own your team's new revenue production in the APAC territory.
  • Mentor and empower our existing team of highly motivated SDRs as they qualify inbound leads and generate new leads via proactive outreach.
  • Hire and coach junior and mid-level sales executives to maximise their potential and build on their professional growth.
  • Absorb all things BigCommerce: our products, services and value proposition and how they positively impact our SMB merchants
  • Own the day to day operations of the team to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and scalability including developing and maintaining accurate forecasts and tracking metrics using SFDC.
  • Planning and implementing a well-rounded, engaging sales strategy that resonates with prospects and helps BigCommerce to thrive in your region.
  • Understand our competitive differentiation in the ecommerce space.
  • You and your team must be forward thinking and always testing new opportunities.
  • Utilise presentations or reports to educate our leadership on your SDR squad's lead generation process, sales pipeline and client satisfaction/retention.
  • Proactively adapt strategy when needed to ensure forecasts meet company expectations.
  • Listen carefully to prospects and clients to identify and present key priorities to the Product team and help prioritise functionality needed to drive sales opportunities
  • Partner with Account Management and Client Services team to provide new customers a seamless onboarding experience
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and corporate strategy.

Does this sound like you?

  • At least 8 years of software or SaaS sales experience with a focus on fast-paced sales cycles
  • Significant sales management experience in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment (1 month sales cycles)
  • History of driving a team to optimally, consistently achieving quotas and objectives.
  • Successful track record of personally closing complex deals in highly competitive space
  • Keen understanding of the SaaS model and ecommerce space is a huge plus!
  • Strong Salesforce and electronic document skills (Google/Office/etc.) will help you to thrive here.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is an asset but not required.
